B&B Old Florence Inn – A Favorite for Families in Florence

The B&B Old Florence Inn is 200 metres from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and provides a short stroll to Florence Cathedral and the Uffizi Gallery, both a 10-minute walk away. A supermarket is three doors from the entrance, and the City Hop On, Hop Off bus stop is on the same street, a few yards from the door. Valet parking at a nearby location is available for guests who arrive by car.

Each guest room is individually decorated in a traditional Florentine style and includes double-glazed windows, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Some rooms offer a balcony with city views, and all provide a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer. Tea and coffee making facilities are in all rooms, along with a minibar fridge.

A free self-serve breakfast is delivered to each room daily from 6:30 AM, offering items such as yogurt, cheese, fruit juice, and packaged croissants and cakes. In the reception area, guests have free access to a coffee machine, a microwave, and a kettle. The breakfast tray is replenished daily, and the hotel bar/lounge serves drinks in the evening.

The hotel keeps a quiet room (number 7) overlooking a courtyard, and double-glazed windows reduce street noise in the front-facing rooms. The elevator, though small, can carry one person with luggage, and the building has a lift to the second floor. Guests consistently rate the cleanliness at 9/10 and the staff helpfulness at 10/10, with many citing the location as the main reason for return stays.
